Chris Jericho is one of the greatest in-ring performers in professional wrestling history as he has won several titles all around the world and he has been successful in every promotion he has competed for. Jericho is best known for his tenure in WWE, WCW and even ECW. He is currently the lead singer of rock band Fozzy. He is considered by many as one of the “greatest professional wrestlers of all time”. Baltimore Sun writer Kevin Eck even wrote that Jericho “has proven to be one of the best all-around performers in the business”, particularly “regarded as one of the very best talkers”. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter also named Jericho the “Best on Interviews” for the 2000s and in 2010 he was inducted into its Hall of Fame. Jericho recently fought for NJPW against Kenny Omega and he even teased a possible future match against Tetsuya Naito.
As previously reported, Jericho replaced Rusev in a Casket Match against The Undertaker at the Greatest Royal Rumble Event in Saudi on April 27th. The reason WWE gave for the replacement to happen was that Lana didn’t want her husband in such a match. Just recently, Jericho commented that he is undefeated in Casket Matches and Undertaker will rest in peace. It should be noted this is Jericho’s first casket match. Jericho posted this graphic below on the match that was made by a fan:
FYI- I am UNDEFEATED in #CasketMatch’s…and on April 27, #TheUndertaker will REST IN PIECES. #KingOfTheCasketMatch #GreatestRoyalRumble @wwe (graphic by @97abdulmalik)
