It was reported yesterday that Jeff Jarrett has completed rehab and is now back home with his family. After allegedly dealing with issues involving alcohol, Jarrett was fired from his job in Impact Wrestling and entered rehab to seek treatment. It looks like Jarrett is already getting back into the world of pro wrestling as he is being advertised for an event at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville, Tennessee. The event is a Tried and True Wrestling show presented by Wounded Warriors, Gold Star families, and Music City Bowl contenders. It is being advertised as a Global Force Wrestling appearance, and the show will also feature Rebel, James Storm, Jerry Lawler, Ricky Steamboat, and more.
Matt Hardy is currently enjoying his run as “Woken” Matt Hardy, which is a renewed version of the “Broken” character that he made famous in Impact Wrestling back in 2016. Hardy will be joining the rest of the roster on the road very soon since Raw and Smackdown will be going live as usual this week. It was a controversial move made by the USA Network since this means that the roster members will not be off for the holiday season. Matt Hardy appears to be making the most of the time that he currently has with his family, because Hardy recently uploaded a fun new video of himself and his “Woken” family all celebrating Christmas Eve.
Randy Savage is one of the most legendary professional wrestlers of all time, and several stories about the now deceased wrestler have been shared over the years. A bizarre new story shared by former Misfits member Michale Graves during an interview with Michael Hodge revealed that Savage nearly fought the band members. An incident involving the band and Savage’s ex-girlfriend, Gorgeous George, reportedly took place in WCW. Graves commented on the rumors by saying, “Yeah, yes. It was terrible. There was a time at one point, when me and Matt, the two smallest guys on the MISFITS/GWAR tour, got cornered backstage by Randy Macho Man Savage. A very angry, drunk, Macho Man Randy Savage.” Graves stated that he was very panicked by Savage, and he called him “an intense guy.” Gorgeous George eventually married the band’s guitarist, Doyle Wolfgang. They divorced back in 2013.
