– There had been talk in recent weeks of WWE unifying the Intercontinental & United States championships. To update the situation, f4wonline.com is reporting that WWE has reportedly scraped the idea. No word yet on why.
– Former RAW General Manager John Laurinaitis will be returning to WWE television this summer. During his time off TV, Laurinaitis has continued to wrestle at WWE live events in dark match main events.
At Saturday night’s live event from Little Rock, Arkansas, Laurinaitis was in Big Show’s corner for John Cena’s steel cage match against Big Show. Fans in attendence were told to vote whether Laurinaitis should be in Big Show’s corner – but they voted no. Laurinaitis entered the cage late in the match with a steel cage and got an Attitude Adjustment from Cena.
