More Backstage News on Emma’s High Asking Price for Indie Bookings
As we noted last week, via The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, former WWE star Emma will become an unrestricted free agent, able to sign with any promotion, as of February 1st, 2018.
Emma’s asking price for bookings is reportedly $2,000, and the Observer notes that figure is for appearances outside of North America, and in foreign markets like Japan. For appearances inside North America, she is asking for $1,500 per date. Emma is also asking for roundtrip airfare to be paid for, in addition to hotel accommodations and ground transportation.

With regards to profits, she is asking for a 50/50 split from autograph and photo money, 100% of whatever she makes from her own merchandise, and creative control if she is booked to wrestle a match.
We previously noted that Emma had been in talks with an independent promotion about signing a deal when she becomes a free agent, but her demands ultimately made the business decision unwise for the company.
