As previously noted, ticket sales for tonight’s WWE Stomping Grounds pay-per-view in Takoma, Washington have been extraordinarily low, so much so that seating charts were changed this past week with nearly one-third of the Tacoma Dome being tarped off.
Fans have started pouring in for tonight’s show, and photos are being posted on social media showing off the giant black tarp hanging from the rafters of the arena, blocking off all oof the first and second balcony, but also a fair amount of seats on the floor. Only the ringside seats will be used on the hard cam side this evening.
While official numbers have not yet been released, we estimate between 6,000 to 6,500 seats were tarped off ahead of WWE Stomping Grounds, with 700 to 750 tickets still remaining on both the primary and secondary markets.

WWE claimed 19,000 for a Monday Night Raw taping at the Tacoma Dome back in 2000, and in the ’80s frequently claimed more than 20,000 in attendance. Early numbers for tonight’s show look to be in the 12,000 range.
