After unsuccessfully winning the Tag Team titles last Friday at Emergence, Rich Swann and Willie Mack earned another opportunity by defeating champions The Good Brothers in a non-title match on Thursday’s Impact Wrestling.
While not yet announced, that title match will happen at Victory Road on September 18th on Impact Plus.

The end came when Karl Anderson was looking to hit a gun stun on Swann, but Swann ducked and rolled Anderson up for the pin. After the match, Anderson and Doc Gallows beat both men down and put Mack through a table.
Swann and Mack earned Thursday’s opportunity by saying they were not pinned in the Emergence three-way that also included Violent by Design’s Joe Doering and Rhino. Scott D’Amore agreed and added a stipulation that if the two could defeat the champions in a non-title affair, they would earn a title shot.
Neither Swann nor Mack have held the tag titles while Gallows and Anderson are in their second reign after regaining the belts at July’s Slammiversary.
