WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns will be entering the 30-man over-the-top-rope match, which features his title on the line this year, as the very first entrant this Sunday night at the WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view.
The announcement was made by Vince McMahon and Stephanie McMahon on the Royal Rumble “go-home” edition of RAW on Monday night at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio. The McMahon’s brought out a roller and randomly pulled Reigns’ name first, only to proudly volunteer to reveal the fact that the roller was rigged so that Reigns’ name would come up first regardless of which ball was pulled.
Shortly after the announcement was made, Reigns took to social media to comment on the fact that he will not only be defending his WWE World Heavyweight Championship against every other person in the match, but that he will do so while entering the match first.
1 or 30…the only number that matters is how many I throw over the top rope. #RoyalRumble #OneVersusAll
