WWE SmackDown Live kicked off this week with a segment involving both Kevin Owens and Shane McMahon as it was made clear their issues are far from over.
Whilst KO thought that he had put the entire situation behind him following his WWE SummerSlam victory, Shane came in with plenty of bad news, pointing out that last Sunday, Elias was wearing a referee shirt, which made him a WWE official.
He showed the footage of Owens beating up Elias with a chair during the match and stated that attacking WWE officials isn’t going to be tolerated, with Shane deciding to fine KO $100,000 as a punishment.
