WWE Superstar Alexander Wolfe Answers Open Challenge At Major Indie Wrestling Event

WWE Superstar Alexander Wolfe, a member of the Sanity faction that hasn’t been seen on television in quite some time, made a surprise appearance at the second night of the wXw 16 Carat Gold Tournament in Germany, answering an open challenge from wXw Shotgun Champion Marius Al-Ani.

Wolfe, formerly known as Axel Tischer, actually hails from Dresden, Germany and spent seven years working for the wXw promotion before being signed by WWE. While he was unsuccessful in regaining the Shotgun Championship, a title he held for more than 260 days, the fans in attendance were definitely excited to see the Sanity member back in action in his home country.

The entire three-day 16 Carat Gold tournament, which has crowned numerous champions who have gone on to become major stars in the wrestling industry (including Aleister Black, Sami Callihan, WALTER, Sami Zayn and Zack Sabre Jr.) will be available on the wXw Now streaming service within the next few days.
