Invitée par Kanye West à la soirée de lancement du nouvel album de Teyana Taylor, jeune chanteuse qu’il produit, Kim Kardashian se serait fait remarquer à cause de son attitude hautaine. Karrueche Tran, petite amie de Chris Brown, en a pleinement fait les frais.

En quelques années, la vie de Kim Kardashian a complètement changé. Passée de starlette issue de l’univers trash de la télé-réalité américaine à épouse et mère de l’enfant de Kanye West, l’un des rappeurs les plus respectés au monde, aux multiples business fructueux, son évolution dans la sphère showbiz est indéniable. Ce qui pourrait bien lui avoir fait prendre un sacré melon. Cette semaine, la Californienne s’est rendue à la soirée de lancement du nouvel album (VII) de Teyana Taylor, jeune chanteuse produite par son mari. Sur place, elle n’aurait pas hésité à prendre certaines personnes de haut. Notamment Karrueche Tran, petite amie de Chris Brown, lui aussi présent. Cette dernière se serait approchée de Kim afin de prendre une photo avec elle… La douche froide. “Elle n’a rien dit et s’est éloignée”, rapporte une source qui se trouvait dans les parages à Radar.

Chris Brown conscient qu’une photo ferait plaisir à sa chérie s’est tournée vers Kanye West pour qu’il puisse intervenir. “Kim a coopéré mais lui a fait comprendre que ça ne la réjouissait pas. Elle se comportait comme une vraie peste.” Finalement, elle aurait accepté de prendre une photo de groupe, bien qu’elle n’ait pas l’air spécialement heureuse de le faire sur le cliché, habillée d’une jupe crayon ultra-moulante sur un top crème. Si excédée qu’elle n’aurait même pas prêté attention à Karrueche, aspirante mannequin, essayant d’entamer la conversation avec elle.

Kim Kardashian a en tout cas la mémoire courte. Un peu de sympathie serait pourtant bienvenue de sa part, elle qui se plaignait quelques mois plutôt de l’attitude condescendante de Beyoncé à son égard. Les couples « Kimye » et « Jayoncé » se sont d’ailleurs visiblement éloignés depuis que les derniers ont sciemment manqué le mariage des premiers à Venise en mai dernier. Elle devrait pourtant savoir que la roue peut encore éventuellemet tourner et à n’importe quel moment…

Parmi les rumeurs les plus folles circulant sur le net autour de “Justice League”, celle-ci est sans doute la plus exaltante : Christopher Nolan produirait le très attendu projet, qui serait réalisé par Zack Snyder et porté par Christian Bale de retour… en Batman !

La rumeur vient du site Latino Review, réputé pour sa prescience en matière de scoops issus de l’univers du comics ! Christopher Nolan produirait le très attendu Justice League, qui serait réalisé par Zack Snyder également producteur, et porté par Christian Bale, de retour dans la peau de Batman ! Des informations à prendre avec des pincettes, qui raviraient néanmoins les fans du genre, pressés d’en savoir davantage sur la ligue de justiciers, regroupant plusieurs héros (dont Batman et Superman) sous la même bannière cinématographique.

Équivalent chez DC Comics des Avengers de Marvel, cet important projet porté par la Warner, réunirait dès lors le réalisateur et l’acteur-phare de The Dark Knight, mais aussi le producteur et le réalisateur de Man of Steel, tout dernier “bijou” de la Warner, attendu le 19 Juin 2013 sur nos écrans : en effet, il semblerait que cette collaboration Snyder (à la réalisation) / Nolan (à la production) ait ravi le studio (voir notre article), désireux de s’entourer des meilleurs pour son futur cross-over de super-héros.

Rappelons à ce sujet que deux des trois Batman réalisés par Christopher Nolan et incarnés par Christian Bale (The Dark Knight et The Dark Knight Rises) ont franchi le milliard de dollars de recettes au box-office. Et que face à l’acteur oscarisé, pourrait également s’illustrer le très en vogue Henry Cavill, qui renfilerait pour l’occasion son costume de Superman, juste après Man of steel. Une équipe de choc donc, réunie (peut-être !) pour une aventure qui s’annonce de plus en plus prometteuse …

Ces cinq dernières années, les Plasticines ne se sont pas mises en retraite anticipée, bien au contraire. Avec le clip de Back to the start, morceau talisman de leur nouvel album, les filles soufflent un vent de folie douce…

Pour ce retour à l’essentiel, Louise, Katty et Anaïs se sont entourées de ceux qui leur sont proches. Les Plasticines qui ont toujours revendiqué “s’inspirer de la vie quotidienne” pour écrire leurs chansons ont cette fois poussé l’expérience jusqu’au bout. Pour le clip de Back to the start, le titre emblématique de leur nouvel album, les girls ont fait appel à leur bande de bons copains. Des barbus sexy et des filles à frange rejoignent les Plasticines pour une virée bon enfant jusqu’au petit matin.

Comme beaucoup de jeunes gens, les Plasticines et leur bande ont rêvé de prolonger la nuit jusqu’au lever du soleil, sur une plage déserte. D’une promesse faite autour d’une partie de flipper, les trois copines se retrouvent à prendre l’autoroute au volant d’une grosse berline jaune, direction le Touquet! Difficile de résister à cette invitation au road-trip made in France et si romantique. La balade est rythmée par le rock romantique des trois célèbres copines.

Un peu moins de rock tout de même pour les Plasticines qui insufflent désormais à leur musique des rythmes électro.

Les trois filles dans le vent et leur Back to the start seront en concert ce mois-ci, le 8 au Bacardi de Callac et le 28 au Virtuoz Club de Villeneuve-la-Garenne.

Jay-Z’s ex-business partner Damon Dash is the latest to join critics of the rapper over his high-profile deal with the National Football League.

Dash, who founded Roc-A-Fella Records with the famed rapper, slammed Jay-Z as strictly self-interested during a visit with Adam22 on the No Jumper podcast.

The discussion on the podcast turned to rumors that Jay-Z told fellow rapper Jermaine Dupri not to take the same deal with the NFL that Jay-Z took himself.

Even though Dupri walked back the claim, Dash said that it proves Jay-Z is a double dealer.

“If you ask anyone in the industry, it’s a common knowledge that Jay ain’t shit.” Dash said adding, “He’s about the bag. We all know that. He’s self-preserving. Period.”

Granted, Dash had a nasty split with Jay-Z over Roc-A-Fella Records. But Dash really took the paddle to Jay-Z and insisted that his former partner’s “deal” is “very vague” and everyone should ignore it until more details emerge.

Dash even hinted that the main reason the NFL made any deal with Jay-Z is because the rapper could bring his wife, Beyonce, in with him.

“It’s not hard to close a deal when you walk in the room with Beyonce, you can close a deal,” Dash said. “She’s the biggest firepower in that moment, it’s easy. Her celebrity trumps everything,” Dash said.

“I’m not saying that the betrayal isn’t . . . we all know that y’all just mad he betrayed [Kaepernick] why you’re not made he betrayed everybody else.” Dash said. “How many betrayals we talked about with Jay this ain’t the first one but just the first one we talked about cuz the only one affected us. So for me I’m like big deal. He fucks everybody over.”

Tuesday on ABC’s “The View,” the panel discussed President Donald Trump saying Bahamian Hurricane Dorian victims must have “totally proper documentation,” citing “some very bad gang members and some very very bad drug dealers.”

Trump said, “I don’t want to allow people that weren’t supposed to be in the Bahamas to come into the United States, including some very bad people and some very bad gang members and some very very bad drug dealers. We are going to be very very strong.”

Co-host Joy Behar said, “He is so despicable he makes my head, my hair stand up.”

Co-host Sunny Hostin said, “It’s just cruel. It’s inhumane. He lacks humanity.”

Behar said, “If they had a hurricane in Norway and they were all coming here, I think he would be fine with that.”

Co-host Whoopi Goldberg said, “How do you not look at this man and say this is a racial problem?”

She continued, “People are constantly saying you always talk about race. Well, this is a race card. The card can’t get any bigger than this.”

She added, “As a black person, that’s what I mean as somebody whose black who’s often told, ‘well, you know, you’re just saying he’s a racist,’ I’m not just saying he’s a racist. I’ve always said he was a racist but now.”

Jusqu’ici, Cyril Hanouna accueillait les critiques et les moqueries avec plus ou moins d’humour et de retenue. Mais cette fois c’en est trop pour l’animateur fétiche de la chaîne D8: l’animateur a reçu trois parpaings d’or lors de la cérémonie satirique de remise des Gérard de la télévision.

Peu de temps après avoir reçu ses trois parpaings, Cyril Hanouna semblait avoir pris la nouvelle avec humour. Lundi soir, l’animateur a ironiquement remercié le jury : “Il paraît que je cartonne aux Gérard, je suis trop content, j’avais besoin de parpaings pour refaire la façade de D8!”, a-t-il écrit avec malice sur Twitter. Mais l’animateur n’a pas voulu en rester là.

Si les prix en eux-mêmes n’ont pas vexé la star de D8 le sketch qui a accompagné la remise des récompenses n’a lui pas du tout été du goût de Cyril Hanouna. Dès le début de son émission quotidienne Touche pas à mon poste, l’animateur a tenu à réagir tout en finesse: « Il y a des journalistes, des intellos, des pseudo intellos qui nous critiquent beaucoup mais on les emmerde, merci”, a-t-il lancé en direction des Gérard. Cyril Hanouna a par la suite précisé les raisons de son indignation: »Il y a un sketch qui m’a dérangé me concernant. Moi franchement je veux bien tout accepter, on peut vraiment me charrier à fond, j’adore ça, c’est ce qu’on fait ici et au contraire ça me fait marrer (…) mais c’est un sketch que j’ai trouvé un peu limite. Moi, ça me blesse.”

Le sketch en question mettait en scène une courte imitation du producteur de l’animateur présenté comme son “dealer”. Visiblement excédé, Cyril Hanouna a pris la saynète au premier degré puisqu’il a tout simplement qualifié le sketch de “nul à chier”.

L’animateur a été soutenu par ses chroniqueurs qui n’ont pas hésité à utiliser de grands mots pour dénoncer la cérémonie. Avec l’élégance qu’on lui connaît, le rappeur La Fouine a insulté l’émission des Gérard tandis que le journaliste Christophe Carrière a parlé de “diffamation” en évoquant le sketch polémique. “La télé c’est que de la télé”, le slogan de Cyril Hanouna clamé à chaque fin d’émission, n’a jamais paru aussi faux…

More than a year before Donald Trump criticized Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-MD) in a tweet on Saturday for ignoring his Baltimore district’s “disgusting, rat and rodent infested mess,” PBS aired a documentary titled Rat Film about the city’s rodent problem.

The Baltimore Sun reported on February 26, 2018, that the documentary “about Baltimore’s rodent fight” was scheduled “to air on PBS” that evening:

The Sun reviewed the documentary in an article titled “‘Rat Film’ highlights Baltimore’s rat warfare, urban planning failures,” five months earlier in September 2017, four months after it premiered at the Maryland Film Festival:

“With rats and urban planning and all the other things the film goes into, there was an incredible wealth of material out there, such as Dawn Day Biehler’s Pests in the City and Antero Pietila’s Not in My Neighborhood, and so it was really a matter of following a path that had been charted by the generous scholarship, histories, and experience of others that came before me. The film is a documentation of me trying to make sense of that path,” filmmaker Theo Anthony told PBS in 2018.

Asked by PBS if there was “anything you learned while researching and making Rat Film that really surprised you?” Anthony responded, “I wouldn’t call it surprising necessarily, but the ways in which all of these seemingly different moments in history—pest control, eugenics, urban planning—seemed to dovetail in the same institutions and ideologies was certainly unexpected.”

Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane has declared that implementing the proposed policy aimed at tackling climate change, otherwise known as the “Green New Deal,” is “essential” for the survival of the human race.

In the midst of a detailed discussion about how to defeat President Donald Trump and Democrat politicians fighting amongst themselves, MacFarlane argued that the ‘Green New Deal,’ proposed by the far-left Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was a matter of life and death.

“For the record, I think a Green New Deal is not only a good idea, but essential for [the] survival of our species,” MacFarlane said. But I also don’t want to see it fizzle due to inexperienced legislative execution. There has to be unification.”

Seth MacFarlane has long expressed his concern about climate change, fearing that it could soon lead to global catastrophe.

In a 2014 interview with Breitbart News, MacFarlane admitted he was “mystified” by the skepticism of conservatives on the issue of climate change.

“I don’t agree with a lot of the politics of the Right,  but I can at least understand why they believe what they believe. Climate Change is the one issue where I am utterly mystified,” he said at the time. “We can’t just start ignoring science with Climate Change. It would be foolhardy. We can’t afford to be wrong. Science says this is happening. We can’t gamble.”

“When you’re talking about a claim like Climate Change, where you’re talking about a massive global transformation that could seriously jeopardize civilization, you better have some damn good evidence to back it up,” MacFarlane continued. “Not every one of them, but a vast majority of scientists accept that evidence.”

The EU will accept a French budget deficit above the EU’s 3 percent ceiling in 2018 “as a one-time exception,” Budget Commissioner Günther Oettinger said in an interview published Thursday.

Oettinger told the Funke media group of German newspapers that French President Emmanuel Macron had “lost authority with his budget for 2019” by upping his spending in response to the Yellow Jackets protests, “but he remains a strong supporter of the European Union.”

Brussels reviewed the French budget several weeks ago and won’t be revisiting it, Oettinger added. “It crucial now that Macron continues his reform agenda, especially in the labor market, and that France remains on its growth track. Under this condition, we will tolerate a national debt higher than 3 percent as a one-time exception. However, it must not continue beyond 2019.”

Oettinger also told the Funke media group that there’s still a chance Britain’s parliament will vote in favor of Prime Minister Theresa May’s Brexit deal in January and that “there is certainly no majority for a disorderly Brexit or for a new referendum.”

If the U.K. leaves the bloc without a Brexit deal, it will become “a third country like Morocco or Azerbaijan,” Oettinger said. He added that if Britain withholds its divorce payment in 2019, Germany would be left footing the bill “in the mid-three-digit range” of hundreds of millions of euros.

The European commissioner added that the likelihood of Britain remaining in the EU had “somewhat increased ” over the past few months, but “nevertheless, I assume there will be a withdrawal at the end of March.”
