News recently had a chat with the pioneering socialite, who brought us Juicy Couture tracksuits and Von Dutch trucker hats, to find out how she feels about Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid, and the other stylish ladies who followed in her fashionable footsteps. Surprisingly, Hilton, 36, says she isn’t the least bit mad about passing the torch to a new crop of young muses. On the contrary, she’s quite happy to serve as their inspiration. After all, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
Take, for example, Kendall Jenner. In 2016, she wore an exact replica of Paris’s 21st birthday dress to her own 21st birthday.

“It makes me feel happy when I see somebody wearing something I’d already worn before,” she told E! News. “I was actually at her birthday and when she walked in, I immediately was like, ‘OMG that dress. That’s my 21st birthday dress!’ And I was like, ‘Where did you get that,’ and she said, ‘I saw the pictures of your birthday dress and I told this designer to make it because I thought it was amazing.'”

“It’s the perfect 21st birthday dress,” she added. “She looked like a sparkling diamond. I loved that dress on her, and it brought back such good memories from my amazing 21st birthday.”
