Kenta Ibushi On If He'd Consider Joining WWE Full-Time: "Zero Chance"

During a recent interview with Tokyo Sports, Kenta Ibushi made it clear that there isn’t much chance of him becoming a full-time WWE Superstar.

Ibushi took part in the first ever WWE Cruiserweight Classic tournament and is also scheduled to compete alongside Hideo Itami in the second annual Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, however he doesn’t appear to have much interest in joining WWE on a full-time basis.

“Zero chance,” Ibushi said when asked if he whether he would consider becoming a full-time member of the active WWE roster. “But these one-shot deals are an absolute plus for all concerned.”

Ibushi added, “If I can be the precedent for this kind of deal, it opens the doors for a lot of Japanese talent in WWE.”

The Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic tournament, which features Ibushi and Itami and 15 other tag-teams, kicks off on tonight’s episode of NXT on the WWE Network. The tournament concludes with the live finals at the NXT TakeOver: Toronto special on the WWE Network on November 19th.
