This week’s NXT will feature a Prime Target segment building up an upcoming title match.

During Raw tonight, a commercial aired announcing that Prime Target: Kross vs. Balor II will air on NXT this Tuesday. The segment will be the final build for Karrion Kross’ NXT Championship defense against Finn Balor.
Kross is defending the NXT Championship against Balor on NXT next week (Tuesday, May 25). NXT’s Prime Target special features preview a big match by focusing on both competitors in it. The Kross-Balor segment will include interviews with them about next week’s title match.
Kross defeated Balor at TakeOver: Stand & Deliver last month to win the NXT Championship.
On NXT two weeks ago, Kross was interrupted by Kyle O’Reilly, Pete Dunne, and Balor. After a brawl broke out, Johnny Gargano and Austin Theory ambushed Kross and laid him out.
Kross defeated Theory in a non-title match on NXT last week. Balor confronted Kross in the ring after the match and told Kross that he doesn’t wait in lines. Balor told Kross that he wanted his rematch — and Kross said he wanted the match just as much as Balor.
