Cody Rhodes yet again dropped another hint recently that he & the other members of The Bullet Club Elite may be heading to The WWE when their current contract expires.
During a recent appearance on Busted Open Radio, Nick Aldis was asked about a third match with Cody, whom he defeated for The NWA Worlds Heavyweight Title this past Sunday. Aldis was open to the idea of a rubber match between the two, but stated it would have to be on his home turf in The UK. When asked about the possibility of the match happening at The ROH-NJPW G1 Supercard in New York, Aldis said, “Anybody with a pulse in this business would want that opportunity to make history at Madison Square Garden.” Cody would then reply the following tweet:
No
I am not on that show https://t.co/9MirtL69VS

Technically, no one is on the show at the moment as the card, nor appearing wrestlers, have not been announced. But this is another tease in a long line of breadcrumbs dropped by Cody in recent weeks.
Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Cody’s contract with ROH ends this month, but he is expected to continue with the company through January. Cody has already been booked and advertised for The ROH Global Wars Tour in early November. The ROH-NJPW MSG show is scheduled for April 6th, 2019.
Cody has gone on record in saying that he plans on sticking with The Young Bucks, Hangman Page & Kenny Omega. The group is expected to test the open market when all of their contracts expire in January.
