Jericho Comments on McGregor, Lynch Not Happy Title Match Stip

Since current IWGP Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho has practically done everything there is to do and has been everywhere in the world, a fan on Twitter recently asked him if his next stop would be in The UFC. Jericho responded, “Why not! I could probably beat Conor McGregor at this point.” As seen on UFC 229 this past Saturday night, Conor McGregor lost in The 4th round to Khabib Nurmagomedov via neck crank. As seen at WWE Super Show-Down last Saturday, Becky Lynch intentionally got herself disqualified against Charlotte Flair in order to retain her SmackDown Women’s Title. Because of that, WWE recently announced that there will be a rematch between the two and that the rematch would take place tonight on SmackDown Live. A stipulation has since been added to the bout where Lynch will lose her SmackDown Women’s Title to Charlotte Flair if she gets disqualified. Lynch then took to Twitter to comment on the stipulation being added. Lynch said, “Looks like I’m fighting a battle on both sides of the curtain. Nothing new there.”

Even when I’m the champion, they still tip the scales against me. Looks like I’m fighting a battle on both sides of the curtain. Nothing new therehttps://t.co/YYUd4Ck5YT
