For the first time since March 2020, MLW is returning to running shows in front of live fans.
MLW CEO Court Bauer made an appearance on this week’s MLW Fusion episode and announced that the promotion will be holding a television taping with fans in attendance at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Saturday, July 10. The event will mark the start of a new season for MLW.
Tickets to the event are now on sale. It’s advertised that MLW World Heavyweight Champion Jacob Fatu, Ross & Marshall Von Erich, Contra Unit, Tom Lawlor, National Openweight Champion Alexander Hammerstone, Richard Holliday, Calvin Tankman, Azteca Underground, Myron Reed, Gino Medina, Alicia Atout, and more will be appearing at the tapings.
Earlier this week, MLW announced a new weekly television deal with Vice TV. Archival MLW content will begin airing on Vice TV this May before the new season starts.

Dave Meltzer wrote about MLW’s deal with Vice TV:
The deal is not exclusive as MLW will continue with both programming on BeIn Sports as well as planning for special live events on DAZN which haven’t started yet due to the pandemic. Library content will also remain on DAZN. The company is also in talks for a new streaming deal.
Vice TV has had great success with Dark Side of the Ring, the most popular show in the history of their network, but this will be the first time they have expanded to add a regular weekly pro wrestling show. Those shows will cross promote each other.
The current season of MLW will close out with Middleweight Champion Lio Rush defending his title against Myron Reed on Fusion on Wednesday, May 5.
