Two debuts announced for this week's WWE 205 Live

This week’s 205 Live will feature the debuts of two recently signed wrestlers.

WWE has announced that Jiro “Ikemen” Kuroshio will make his debut for the promotion as he teams with August Grey against Tony Nese & Ariya Daivari in a tag match on 205 Live this Friday night. Kuroshio is using the name Ikemen Jiro.

Alex Zayne, who is now using the name Ari Sterling in WWE, will also debut on this Friday’s 205 Live. Zayne is facing Samir Singh of The Bollywood Boyz in a singles match.

Kuroshio and Zayne were both part of the group of signees that joined the WWE Performance Center in December 2020.

WWE.com wrote about Kuroshio and Zayne when they signed with the company:

Sojiru “Ikemen” Higuchi is a 26-year-old wrestler from Japan who was trained by former United States and WWE Tag Team Champion Tajiri, and he has competed for Wrestle-1 and All-Japan Pro Wrestling.

Alex Brandenburg competed under the name Alex Zayne on the independent scene. The Kentucky native has made a name for himself in promotions like Game Changer Wrestling, Black Label Pro and Ring of Honor during his 15-year career.

Kuroshio also formerly wrestled for DDT. Zayne has wrestled for NJPW in the United States, including having several matches on New Japan Strong.
