-As noted previously, WWE NXT announcer Tony Dawson has parted ways with the company. The official Twitter page of Dawson has since been deleted, and his official profile page on the WWE NXT roster listing has been removed.

-There is a pre-sale available for tickets to the WWE live event at the Sleep Train Arena in Sacramento, California on December 7th. Those interested in participating can do so with the pre-sale code: 2WWELIVE.

-Speaking of the WWE live event in Sacramento, it’s worth noting that the UFC will be running the venue seven days after the WWE show.

Breaking News: John Cena Confirmed For Match At WWE Hell In A Cell PPV

In a shocking announcement made on Monday’s edition of WWE RAW, John Cena will be returning to in-ring action earlier than expected, as he will compete with Alberto Del Rio for the World Heavyweight Championship in the next pay-per-view, which will emanate from Miami, Florida on Sunday, October 27th.

The announcement was made during the third and final hour of RAW, as Vickie Guerrero selected Ricardo Rodriguez as Del Rio’s opponent for RAW. Before the match could begin, however, Guerrero revealed that Del Rio would be facing Cena at the Hell In A Cell show, which led to Rodriguez upsetting Del Rio in the RAW match.

The Thursday, October 17th edition of TNA Impact Wrestling on Spike TV drew a final cable rating of 0.84, according to Nielsen Media Research. The 0.84 final draw marks an increase from the previous week’s final number, which came in at an 0.82.

Impact Wrestling this week averaged 1.10 million viewers, which was also an increase from the previous week’s 1.084 million average.

For those curious, the NFL game between the Arizona Cardinals and the Seattle Seahawks that went head-to-head with Impact Wrestling this week drew 6.047 million viewers for the NFL Network. Additionally, the mega-hit “Pawn Stars” drew 3.222 million and 3.315 million viewers for two back-to-back first-run episodes on The History Channel.

Ken Shamrock Talks Issues He Had With WWE, Working With The Rock & More

The following are highlights from a new WWE.com “Where Are They Now?” interview with UFC Hall Of Famer Ken Shamrock:

On how he initially entered WWE: “Vince McMahon reached out and showed a big interest in me and in changing pro wrestling as we knew it. He came to me and said I could come to WWE and they’d build me into something special. I appreciated his confidence in me.

On his work in WWE with The Rock: “It was great. Working with him is what almost got me to that next level. I thought that, with the matches I had with The Rock, I was going to move up and go after him for the WWE Title. For some reason, that never happened.”

On issues he had with WWE in the past: “I wasn’t being serious and doing what I needed to do to improve. I got bitter, but it was stupid on my part. There were so many guys that deserved an opportunity at the WWE Championship that didn’t get it, that probably deserved it. I look back on it and think I was truly blessed to have gotten those opportunities.”

AEW to hold Brodie Lee tribute show on Dynamite, five matches set

AEW will be holding a tribute show for Brodie Lee this Wednesday on Dynamite.

Tony Khan announced this afternoon that Wednesday’s show will be dedicated to Brodie Lee, who passed away on Saturday. Lee’s wife Amanda on Instragram wrote that he had died due to a non-COVID related lung issue.

“This Wednesday on #AEWDynamite, we’ll celebrate the life of Jon Huber (Mr. Brodie Lee) with a show including tributes and a special card of matches dedicated to The Exalted One,” Khan wrote on Twitter. “This night is intended to honor Jon, but also this is for Amanda, and their sons Brodie (-1) & Nolan.”

Khan announced the following matches for Wednesday:

Lee’s son Brodie’s favorites teaming for one night only: Cody Rhodes, Orange Cassidy & Preston “10” Vance vs. Team Taz (Brian Cage, Ricky Starks & Powerhouse Hobbs)
The Young Bucks & Colt Cabana vs. Matt Hardy & Private Party

-WWE will be holding NXT live events this week in Florida. On Thursday, November 7th, there will be a WWE NXT live event at the FCW Arena in Tampa, Florida, On Friday, November 8th, WWE NXT runs the Armory in Jacksonville, Florida.

-The cast of the WWE Total Divas reality show will be appearing on The Steve Harvey Show to promote the second-half of their first season, which premieres this Sunday night, November 10th on E!.

-WWE Studios film “The Marine 3” will be premiering in the United Kingdom on Sky Premiere 1 this Friday, November 8th, and will be airing multiple times throughout the next few weeks.

The feeling is the company has a lot of average-sized talent and that now is the time to sign more head-turning attractions. WWE is putting heavy emphasis on bigger and stronger Superstars instead of guys like CM Punk and Daniel Bryan.

– Speaking of Punk and Bryan, the reason WWE has the two in a program currently with The Wyatt Family is to attempt to elevate Erick Rowan and Luke Harper. As much as WWE believes in the talents of Bray Wyatt, they also want to give a push to Rowan and Harper.
