Austin Aries now has even more reason to even with the score with Hideo Itami.
Following his victory over No Way Jose at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn II on Saturday night, Aries suffered an injury at the hands, or “sockless loafers,” of Hideo Itami.
Itami made the save for No Way Jose, doing a run-in when Aries continued to attack the NXT newcomer after beating him in the opening match of the live WWE Network special.
Aries took to social media on Monday and revealed that the post-match attack from Itami left him with a ruptured eardrum. Aries promised to “save the receipt” for the Japanese NXT star.
