Rico Recalls the Preparations for the Royal Rumble

As seen above, former WWE Tag Team Champion Rico Constantino recently appeared on the “Pancakes and Powerslams Show” and revealed some interesting notes on the backstage production of the WWE Royal Rumble Match. Host Chris Featherstone sent the following quotes from the interview:
“First, you have the production meeting with Vince and all the agents, and they set up the show and stuff like that, and they’re already picked the 30 people. And you have your main players, you know. You work backwards, from the winner back, and you have your main characters, you know, the superstars, and you have the people that are main players. Some feuds, you know, they do the heel/face thing. And then you have, I guess, your background, or your spice. We were like, just the flavor, just the add-ins, and I was one of just the add-ins.
“And an agents gets down there, I don’t know if it was Arn [Anderson] or Pat Patterson, but after the meeting, we all gather in the arena around the ring, you know we’re all on one section and they’re talking about what’s gonna happen and what going on. So, the main players get all their spots and stuff like that, and then they just stuff the people in the certain spots. And they say, ‘well you’re gonna come in on, you’re gonna be number 16, you’re gonna go in there and [Randy] Orton’s gonna eliminate you, and this is how he’s gonna eliminate you.
“So now you’ve already got who and how. So you’re gonna go in there, now you have to make [sure], you don’t want any contact with Orton prior to that, because then you’re gonna be fighting and you get how much time you’re going to be in there. A minute, minute and a half, two minutes. Some people longer, some people eliminate other people, but it has to fall into place.”
Rico added, “the Royal Rumble goes off cues and spots and stuff like that. When this spot happens, they’re in the Gorilla box, Vince is up there, ‘okay go.’ Bing, here goes this one, okay, this is that one. The ref has the thing in the ear, and they’re shouting [from the back] to the ref to tell, okay, he eliminates him, he eliminates him, go tell him, go tell them, in case people forget. You know, it’s 30 people, it’s a constant. Everything is constantly in motion, you just can’t stop.
“So, (buzzer sound), here I come. ‘You look so good to me’ [music hits], and I go running in. So, I get in there as I’m running I look where Orton is, and I go the opposite side, and I can’t remember what I did, if I did the jumping enziguri, or the step over look at my butt kick, and, you know, I just did a couple of things. And then Randy and I got together, did a couple of things, boom boom boom, and then over I went. And that was it. And then you just go.
“I mean, that sounds simple, but you’ve also got to think of everybody else’s spot before you and then after you, and you always got to think of all of a sudden, somebody messes up, or somebody gets injured, gets hurt the hard way, you know. You gotta think on the fly, [and] make up for it. Listen, wonder if Randy got hurt? What if he hit his head and got knocked out or something. Who’s gonna eliminate me? But I have to be gone. [Wonder if he] is missing the spot? I can’t go up there and say, ‘hey! You were supposed to eliminate me! Leave Edge alone! What are you doing? …all the other parts add up to the big part.”

Paige Opens Up about Triple H’s Bad Joke About her Sex Tapes

Paige was on the latest episode of Chasing Glory with Lilian Garcia and discussed how she feels about Triple H’s apology for the joke he made about her, as well as how the joke itself wasn’t what upset her. Highlights are below.
On how she feels about Triple H’s apology for the joke he made about her: “It definitely takes like a real man or woman to admit a mistake that they made and to publicly go out there and obviously apologize, it takes a lot. Because sometimes you truly don’t mean to offend someone, obviously, and in today’s age, people can get offended a lot. And I don’t mind jokes, honestly, I really don’t. Backstage, I’ll joke all the time, I was like, you can throw these jokes at me, I joke about myself, I don’t care. But if it’s in the media, then it just opens doors to strangers to do it and that’s not OK, because then I just feel like these people on the internet are now bullying me again, here comes the cyberbullying that I just got over too. Because you end up being like, chill, there was maybe like one douchebag, you know you always get one, like once a week, that will send something to me or say something mean about it, but it was really good, the rest of them was really positive, and then all of a sudden it’s just back to square one again and you’re like, common, when can I get a break. But this time around, I’ve grown a lot since then and I know what to expect and I know how to make myself feel better.”
On how she wasn’t upset by the joke itself: “He was just joking, like I know it was a throwaway joke, and honestly, I wouldn’t be offended by it if it was just us, no cameras around, just backstage and people are joking, I would probably find it funny. The joke itself didn’t really upset me as much as it did the open doors for people to just attack me again, and I just wanted that door to be closed and for people to slowly forget about it, but now, just like ignite it again, and now I’m just like, again, I’m like, people are not going to remember me about this stuff, they’re just gonna remember me now because of this joke that came out and how these videos came about. I wish people would just let it go. If my family can do it, my partner can do it, I wish strangers [could do it].”Click Here: cheap nsw blues jersey

USA Network Made the Call for No WWE NXT Overrun

This week’s edition of NXT TV did not feature an overrun for the USA Network broadcast. Last night’s show was followed by the Season 2 premiere of Miz & Mrs.. Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer reported on Twitter that the decision for NXT not to have an overrun last night was a call made by the USA Network.
USA Network reportedly feared that the NXT overrun could hurt the ratings for the WWE reality show. Melter tweeted in response to a fan question, “USA made the call. They thought it would hurt the Miz & Mrs. ratings.” You can check out that tweet below.

Ryback wants his name back and publicly pleads to WWE to surrender trademark

In a tweet sent yesterday, former WWE Superstar Ryback pleaded publicly to Vince McMahon and Triple H to abandon the Ryback trademark so he could move on with his career.
“It wasn’t created by them and trying to make someone spend nearly 200K to keep their legal name and brand is petty and unnecessary. Please move on and erase me from your history and programming,” he said.
Ryback legally changed his name to his wrestling persona from his birth name Ryan and has applied for the trademark under his name of Ryback Reeves for “entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network.”
But the former star now doesn’t want WWE to profit off of his name and if he is awarded the complete trademark, WWE would have to pay him to license it for any future projects. WWE has owned the trademark of the name Ryback since December 18, 2012 and it is a live trademark.
The two parted ways in August 2016 after a few months before he decided to quit due to a contract dispute, citing lack of equal pay for talent and creative frustration as primary reasons for his departure. He used the name The Big Guy when he performed on independent shows.Click Here: mens all stars nrl jersey

NWA Powerrr originally intended for the WWE Network?

During his recent podcast, Jim Cornette talked about what Dave Lagana allegedly told him regarding original plans for NWA Powerrr:
“The NWA show was what they were thinking was going to end up on the (WWE) Network.”
“Then (Lagana) started talking about ‘well, we’re going to do a TV show. I said ‘what do you mean, Dave?’ He said ‘well, we’re going to start doing TV.’ I said ‘what would it be on?’ and he said ‘well we’re not sure yet but we think it might be on the WWE Network.”
“He did have meetings unless he was just bald-faced lying to me.”
“Finally, he called and said ‘Well, we’re going to do it on YouTube.”
“Originally the NWA show was going to be on the WWE Network and then that didn’t work out and they put it on YouTube.”Click Here: Spain National Team soccer tracksuit
