With the show airing on Friday due to a scheduling conflict with the NBA playoffs, last week’s Dynamite drew the lowest ratings in show history.

Last Friday’s Dynamite averaged 526,000 viewers on TNT, down 35.9 percent from the previous week when the show aired in its normal Wednesday time slot. The Friday night Dynamite episode was the go-home show for Double or Nothing. The episode began at 10 p.m. Eastern time and ended at midnight.

Dynamite’s previous low in viewership was the 633,000 viewers that it averaged on June 24 of last year, which was in its regular Wednesday night time slot. That week NXT had one of its biggest viewership wins in history when it averaged 786,000 viewers for an episode headlined by a triple threat North American title match between Keith Lee, Johnny Gargano, and Finn Balor.

Last Friday’s Dynamite drew a 0.20 rating in the 18-49 demo, down 28.6 percent from the previous week on Wednesday. That was also the lowest number in show history, with a 0.22 rating for that same June 24, 2020 episode being the previous record low.

Dynamite was likely also hurt by NBA ratings. The NBA playoffs have been doing some of their best numbers in years.

Dynamite will again be airing on Friday at 10 p.m. Eastern both this week and next week.
