Identity of New 10-Year-Old WWE Tag Team Champion “Nicholas” Revealed

Just in case you missed WrestleMania 34 last night from the Mercedes-Bens Superdome in New Orleans, the “Monster Among Men” became one half of the brand new WWE RAW Tag Team Champions! His partner? A 10-year-old boy named Nicholas.

Yes, this really happened.

Strowman, who has refused to name a parter for several weeks now much to the chagrin of now-former champions Cesaro and Sheamus, walked through the enormous crowd in the Superdome to “randomly” pick a partner from a member of the WWE Universe. Before the other shoe could drop, the big man brought Nicholas back to the ring, introduced him to the world on live pay-per-view, and sat him on the apron while he did all the heavy lifting. Not only is the kid now a legitimate, officially recognized champion, but he’s obviously broken the record as the youngest champion in WWE history.

We can now confirm that Nicholas is actually the son of long-time WWE referee John Cone, who has been with the company for over a decade. Cone actually officiated the match at WrestleMania last night, creating a feel-good moment where he got to award a WWE title to his own child.

So technically, this is second time The Bar can make a case for being screwed out of their titles because of nepotism… I’m sure Hall of Fame General Manager Kurt Angle will get an earful about it tonight on Monday Night RAW.
