It seems that the reports of petrol prices touching Rs 100 around Diwali are true. It may actually happen even earlier as the fuel prices have already crossed Rs 90.50 mark in Mumbai.
According to reports, in New Delhi, petrol is being retailed at Rs 83.22 (increased by Rs 0. 22) per litre, while diesel is being sold at Rs 74.42 (increased by Rs 0.18) per litre.
