WWE has announced an update on Ridge Holland following the injury he suffered on last night’s NXT.
In this week’s NXT injury report, it was announced that Holland suffered a left ankle dislocation and fracture and a right knee patellar dislocation and patellar tendon rupture. It was said that the knee dislocation was put back into place at ringside and the ankle dislocation was put back into place in the emergency room.
WWE announced that Holland underwent surgery today.

Holland defeated Danny Burch on last night’s NXT. When Holland disrespected Burch after the match, Burch slapped him in the face. Holland beat down Burch and then fought with Oney Lorcan when Lorcan ran out to make the save. The injury happened when Holland was catching Lorcan when Lorcan hit a plancha. Holland was taken out on a stretcher and gave a thumbs up to the audience.
In the main event angle of NXT TakeOver 31 on Sunday night, Holland carried out a laid out Adam Cole and dumped him over the barricade after attacking him backstage. Holland showed up to this week’s NXT in a new Mercedes-Benz, with it being indicated that someone paid him to attack Cole. Cole cut a promo vowing that he would get payback on Holland.
