As noted, Rich Swann will be making his Impact Wrestling debut at the next set of TV tapings in June. Despite the announcement that Swann is headed to Impact, however, Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com is reporting Swann has not signed a long-term deal with the company.
On the possibility of Swann returning to WWE at some point, Johnson speculated it could happen if and when WWE decides the time is right.
“I think WWE will bring him back at some point,” Johnson speculated. “Whenever somebody gets in trouble, WWE has them serve their penance and then they eventually get brought back into the fold. I think that is the process that Rich Swann is in right now. He’s working for Impact but he’s not signing a 5-year contract.”
