Singer, socialite, WAG and now author Victoria Beckham has opened a concession of her denim line dVb at Harrods. Previously she collaborated on a jeans line with Rock & Republic.
Distributor Jonathan Judah of Prelude! told WGSN: “We are launching with a capsule collection of core product that we have really tried and tested. At the end of October we will drop into store the Holiday collection, and then in January the spring collection in addition to evolving the core product.”
On the fact that Harrods was chosen for the London debut, Judah said: “Because it has that unique mix of neighbourhood shopping and international appeal. We worked with TWOC on the design, because they are a young ultra-creative company who totally grasped our vision. Heavy industrial tables are central to the display, but given femininity with floral detailing and contrasted with deep purple velvet curtains and detailing that personalise the environment.”
