It was recently reported that Kane would be making his return to the ring at upcoming WWE Live events on August 23 and 24. The official website for the Cajundome in Lafayette, Louisiana is even advertising that the “Big Red Machine” will be in action against Braun Strowman.
It looks like someone got their signals crossed, however, as a spokesperson for the Knox County mayor released a statement claiming that “Mayor Jacobs has no scheduled appearances at this time”, reports KnoxNews.com.
